## Description

Despite the grand label, Kaieteur International Airport (KAI) is a single airstrip inside Kaieteur National Park, less than a kilometre from the famous falls in the Potaro-Siparuni region. It exists for sightseeing: Trans Guyana Airways, Air Services Limited and Roraima Airways fly day-trippers in from Ogle (OGL) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. There is no cargo role here — no freight terminal, no customs, and protected-park rules that rule out commercial logistics. Goods bound for the area move on the interior network through OGL, or overland where any track exists.
