## Description

Two rival cargo teams now share one Maui counter: since January 2025 Hawaiian and Alaska Air Cargo have co-located at Kahului Airport (OGG), Hawaii's second-busiest field and Maui's link to the wider world. A new freight building with its own agricultural inspection station rose south of the overseas terminal, screening produce, protea, reef fish and tropical fruit before they head for the mainland. Aloha Air Cargo - the only overnight carrier with refrigeration at every island station - works the ramp in Boeing 767s and 737s alongside Southwest, FedEx and United, feeding more than ten nonstop destinations. Heavy goods reach Maui by container ship; what is fresh and time-critical leaves by air. For transpacific volume the routing runs through Honolulu - cross-link to HNL.
