## Description

Millions come for the turquoise lakes of Jiuzhaigou; freight, by contrast, has no business at Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport (IATA: JZH). Perched at 3,448 metres in Sichuan's Aba prefecture, it ranks among China's highest civil airports and exists almost entirely for tourism to the Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong UNESCO sites. Air China, Sichuan Airlines and China Eastern fly in from Chengdu, Chongqing and Xi'an on a 3,200-metre runway built for thin-air operations.
