## Description

Hubei province is home to Ezhou Huahu (EHU), Asia's first dedicated cargo airport, and that geography defines the freight role of Jingzhou Shashi Airport (IATA: SHS), roughly 250 kilometres to the west. Opened in January 2021 as a class-4C feeder airport, SHS hosts passenger services by China Southern, China Eastern and Donghai Airlines to cities such as Guangzhou and Shanghai.
