Porcelain has made Jingdezhen famous for a thousand years, but its ceramics leave the region by road, not from Jingdezhen Luojia Airport (JDZ/ZSJD). The domestic 4C-class airport sits about 5.5 kilometres south of the city centre in Jiangxi province and handled roughly 331,400 passengers and just 174.7 tonnes of cargo as reported for 2025. Infrastructure comprises a runway of 2,400 by 45 metres, four Category C aircraft stands and a terminal of some 6,200 square metres; no freighter operations or dedicated cargo terminal are confirmed, so the small volumes move as belly cargo on domestic services.
