## Description

Set among the state farms of the Sanjiang Plain in far northeastern Heilongjiang, Jiansanjiang Shidi Airport (JSJ) is one of China's most remote regional fields. It opened in the mid-2010s to link the agricultural district to the domestic network, with a handful of routes including Harbin. There is effectively no freight infrastructure; only small belly volumes and mail travel on passenger flights.
