## Description

Strong demand for fast transport, almost no infrastructure to serve it: that contrast defines Jacareacanga (JCR/SBEK) in the far south-west of Pará. The paved runway measures roughly 1,600 by 30 metres, which caps operations at light aircraft and small turboprops, and no airline currently offers scheduled service.
