## Description

Isfahan Shahid Beheshti International Airport (IATA: IFN, ICAO: OIFM) serves one of Iran's leading industrial regions — steel, petrochemicals and textiles — but has been operating under severe restrictions since the 2026 war. After strikes in March 2026 and repeated airspace closures, Isfahan was one of only eight airports still usable nationwide as of May 2026, with flights confined to the hours between sunrise and sunset and each rotation requiring separate approval from the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran.
