Argentina's air cargo does not all pass through Buenos Aires: in the first ten months of 2025 the freight terminal at Ingeniero Aeronáutico Ambrosio L.V. Taravella International (IATA: COR, ICAO: SACO) handled 721,258 kg of imports and 444,596 kg of exports, up 42 and 14 per cent year on year. Operated by Aeropuertos Argentina with an on-site customs post, it covers perishable exports, general cargo and import clearance, drawing on belly capacity rather than dedicated freighter rotations. New lift arrived during 2025 as Avianca opened Córdoba-Bogotá with cargo, LATAM added Córdoba-São Paulo, GOL began carrying freight and Air Europa moved from three to four weekly flights. National Routes 9 and 19 provide trucking links to Rosario and the Paraná river ports, while intercontinental freighter capacity still runs via Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE), with Rosario (ROS) as the nearest alternative.
