## Description

Korean Air Cargo dominates Incheon International (ICN) on Yeongjong Island west of Seoul, having absorbed Asiana after the two carriers merged; Asiana's freighter arm — eleven Boeing 747 and 767 aircraft — passed to Air Incheon in August 2025, which rebranded as AirZeta and became Korea's second-largest cargo operator. FedEx, UPS, DHL and a broad lineup of international freighter operators round out the apron. The airport moved 2.95 million tonnes in 2025, ranking seventh worldwide in the ACI count. Semiconductors, electronics, EV batteries and pharmaceuticals fill the manifests — the core of Korea's export industry. A free trade zone with bonded warehouses surrounds the cargo terminals, allowing duty-neutral storage, repacking and value-added processing, with IATA CEIV-certified cold chains for pharmaceutical shipments. Operations run around the clock. As the Phase 4 expansion is completed, freight capacity climbs toward roughly 6.3 million tonnes a year. The AREX rail link and the Incheon Bridge expressway connect the island to Seoul and the Port of Incheon.
