An airport code that still exists does not mean an airport that still works: Kyiv Ihor Sikorsky International (IATA: IEV, ICAO: UKKK), universally known as Zhuliany, has handled no civil flights and no air cargo since Ukrainian airspace closed in February 2022. The field lies about 8 km southwest of central Kyiv and was, before the war, one of Wizz Air's largest eastern European bases and the country's second-busiest airport after Boryspil (KBP).
