## Description

Hrodna Airport (IATA: GNA, ICAO: UMMG) is a regional field in the far west of Belarus, southeast of the city of Hrodna (Grodno) and close to the Polish and Lithuanian borders. Scheduled passenger service is currently suspended, and the airport is used mainly for charter, business and special flights. It handles no significant air cargo; the country's cargo hub is Minsk (MSQ), about 260 km to the east. Since Western sanctions, cross-border freight to the EU runs predominantly overland through Poland and Lithuania rather than by air.
