## Description

Hotan's name is synonymous with nephrite jade, and small high-value consignments of it leave the oasis city by air through Hotan Kungang Airport (IATA: HTN). Renamed in February 2023 and operating two runways since April 2024, the airport is southern Xinjiang's key air link, with passenger services concentrated on Ürümqi.
