## Description

Honghe Mengzi Airport is a dual-use military and civil project under construction on the site of Mengzi Air Base in Yunnan, designed for A320/B737-class aircraft on a planned 2,800 by 50 metre runway with a parallel taxiway. Air freight for the area is handled at Kunming Changshui (KMG), about three hours away by road, with Nanning Wuxu (NNG) as a secondary option for consignments moving east.
