## Description

The German Air Force runs Hohn Air Base (ICAO: ETNH) near Rendsburg in Schleswig-Holstein, today as a satellite field of Tactical Air Wing 51 "Immelmann" at Jagel and with a much reduced footprint. Its transport era ended on 15 December 2021, when Air Transport Wing 63 and its Transall fleet were stood down. The other resident operator is GFD (Gesellschaft für Flugzieldarstellung), which flies Learjet 35A and 36A aircraft on target-towing and measurement missions for the Bundeswehr and for research bodies such as the German Weather Service.
