506,499 passengers and 3,907 aircraft movements passed through Hatay Airport (IATA: HTY, ICAO: LTDA) in 2025, roughly 75 per cent more than the year before, marking its recovery after the earthquake of 6 February 2023 tore open the runway and halted civil operations. The airport serves Hatay province in Turkey's far south from a site between Antakya and Iskenderun and is flown by Turkish Airlines, AJet and Pegasus Airlines, mainly to Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya. Freight moves only as belly load on those domestic services; no cargo terminal, freighter operation or permanent air-import customs facility is confirmed here. Continuing post-earthquake reconstruction drives demand for building materials, equipment and project cargo, most of which travels by road and ship rather than by air.
