## Description

Batam is an industrial island in a free-trade and special economic zone, a short ferry from Singapore, and Hang Nadim (BTH) is its aviation gateway. Its 4,025-metre runway — the longest in Indonesia — takes Boeing 747s and even the Airbus A380.
