Scheduled flying only returned to Guajará-Mirim (GJM/SBGM) on 1 December 2022, when Brazil's civil aviation authority ANAC re-authorised operations at this far-western Rondônia field. The airport sits on the Estrada do Palheta opposite the Bolivian twin town of Guayaramerín across the Mamoré River, and a bilateral airspace agreement governs traffic over both cities.
