## Description

Porto Velho gained its own freighter link in 2026: since 2 May, Azul Linhas Aéreas has flown an Airbus A320 freighter on a Goiânia–Porto Velho–Campinas rotation three times a week, ending the airport's reliance on belly capacity alone. Governador Jorge Teixeira de Oliveira Airport (PVH/SBPV) is the main gateway of the Amazon state of Rondônia and has been operated by VINCI Airports since February 2022 under a 30-year concession awarded in 2021. Cargo remains domestic, because international customs clearance (alfandegamento) is still not in place; the municipality continued to press the Receita Federal on the matter through 2026.
