## Description

Renner Field, better known by its code GLD (ICAO: KGLD), is the municipal airport of Goodland in north-west Kansas, two miles from town and close to the Colorado state line. Owned by the City of Goodland and run by FBO Butterfly Aviation, the three-runway field serves general aviation, charter, flight training and the crop-dusting that supports the surrounding High Plains wheat country. Scheduled airline service ended decades ago, and there is no cargo terminal or customs on site. At about 1,115 metres elevation beside Interstate 70, GLD meets local flying needs; regional air freight is handled at Denver International (DEN), roughly 175 miles (280 km) to the west.
