## Description

Most of Busan's export tonnage leaves by sea — the city's container port ranks among the world's largest — yet time-critical consignments still lift off at Gimhae International (PUS), Korea's second airport, which shares its runways with a Republic of Korea Air Force base. Air Busan and Jin Air operate dense regional networks, while Korean Air and Asiana link Busan with Japan, China and Southeast Asia. Freight moves mainly as belly cargo on these regional routes, with an international cargo terminal handling express and project shipments. A night curfew (23:00–06:00) restricts freighter operations, so large volumes route via Incheon or as sea-air combinations through the port.
