## Description

Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation and other Congolese operators make Gemena (IATA: GMA, ICAO: FZFK) the main air link for Sud-Ubangi province, with services to Kinshasa and Mbandaka. There is no dedicated freight terminal, so most cargo moves as belly load on those passenger flights. Pure freighters do use the field, however: in April 2026 a Serve Air Cargo Boeing damaged roughly 30 metres of runway on landing, triggering the repair works that followed.
