## Description

A 3,750-metre runway — long enough for the heaviest freighters in service — is the standout asset of Fujairah International Airport (FJR) on the UAE's east coast. The field sits about eight kilometres from the Port of Fujairah, one of the world's largest bunkering ports and the only major UAE deep-water port outside the Strait of Hormuz, which makes FJR a natural niche for sea-air traffic and ship-spares logistics.
