## Description

Norway's westernmost airport, Florø (IATA: FRO, ICAO: ENFL) serves the oil-and-gas coast of Vestland county. Widerøe runs scheduled flights to Bergen and Danish Air Transport links Florø with Oslo, but the field's real backbone is helicopter traffic to the North Sea platforms. Bristow flies from here to the Snorre, Visund, Gjøa and Knarr fields, CHC provides the 330 Squadron search-and-rescue service with a Super Puma, and from 2025–26 Lufttransport takes on offshore flights for Equinor with new AW189 helicopters out of Florø and Sola. No conventional air cargo is handled; sizeable shipments route through Bergen (IATA: BGO), about 150 km to the south.
