## Description

For substantial air freight, Fès-Saïss International is a feeder rather than a main gateway. Located about 13 km south-east of Fès and run by ONDA, the airport handled roughly 1.9 million passengers in 2024, serving mainly tourists and pilgrims bound for the UNESCO medina alongside business travellers. Its economic hinterland, the Fès-Meknès region, is known for leather, textiles and agriculture.
