## Description

Just under 69,800 aircraft movements in 2022, around 170 based aircraft and 65 tenants: Felts Field (IATA: SFF, ICAO: KSFF) is a busy general aviation reliever airport rather than a freight facility. Spread over more than 400 acres in Spokane, eastern Washington, it was the city's commercial airport before Spokane International opened, and today offers two paved runways, a turf strip and water landings on the adjoining Spokane River. There is no cargo terminal, no scheduled freight service and no customs post here; commercial activity is business aviation, charter and corporate flying. Regional air cargo instead concentrates at Spokane International (GEG) some 20 kilometres to the west, which handled about 60,153 US tons in 2025 and is served by FedEx, UPS and Delta Cargo, with UPS and FedEx operating daily all-cargo flights. Intercontinental consignments still route through Seattle-Tacoma (SEA), roughly four hours away on Interstate 90. Shippers in the Inland Northwest therefore combine a truck leg to GEG with either a feeder flight or a road feeder service to the coast.
