Set between the Cleveland, Buffalo and Pittsburgh metropolitan areas on Interstates 90 and 79, Erie International Tom Ridge Field (ERI/KERI) works better as a road feeder point than as an air cargo station. FedEx is the only significant freight operator, using a dedicated cargo apron for feeder aircraft that carry most of the airport's air freight; there is no large cargo terminal and no widebody freighter service. The airport is run by the Erie Regional Airport Authority, and scheduled passenger service comes from Breeze Airways with two weekly Orlando flights plus seasonal Tampa services, alongside business and general aviation.
