## Description

Until José María Córdova opened in Rionegro in 1985, Enrique Olaya Herrera (EOH) was Medellín's international airport; since 1991 it has handled domestic and regional traffic only. Clic Air accounts for around 61 percent of departures, alongside SATENA, flying ATR 72/42s and Embraer regional jets. South of the terminal, more than 110 hangars house charter, cargo and business-aviation operators as well as flight schools. Scheduled freight of any scale moves through MDE near Rionegro, which serves the international carriers and freighters. For forwarders, EOH is a convenient in-city regional field, with air cargo routed via the Rionegro hub.
