## Description

Doringbaai is a small airstrip on South Africa's west coast, in the fishing and rooibos country of the Western Cape north of Vredendal. Light aircraft, agricultural work and the occasional charter use it; there is no scheduled service, no freight handling, no cold storage and no customs. Exports of fish, seafood and farm produce travel by road to Cape Town International (CPT), which provides the cold chain and customs clearance for air cargo.
