## Description

RusLine is the only airline serving Tambov Donskoye (TBW/UUOT) in central Russia, flying roughly 35 departures a month — about seven a week — to just two destinations, Moscow Vnukovo (VKO) and St Petersburg (LED). There are no international services and no dedicated cargo terminal, freighter operation or documented air-cargo customs post; whatever freight moves does so as belly load on regional jets. Shippers with goods for the Tambov region therefore consolidate at Moscow's cargo airports, Sheremetyevo (SVO) and Domodedovo (DME), and truck the remaining 480 kilometres or so down the M6 trunk road. Anyone planning such a movement has to factor in the EU, Swiss and US sanctions and dual-use export controls in force against Russia since 2022, which require every line item to be screened for licence requirements before booking. Older descriptions presenting TBW as a freight hub are simply wrong: for forwarders it is a small domestic passenger field with no cargo function of its own.
