## Description

Dara Sakor International Airport (IATA: DSY, ICAO: VDDS) in Botum Sakor, Koh Kong province, is a newly built large Cambodian airport that has handled only domestic charter flights since 26 December 2024 and remains in a trial phase. Designed for seven million passengers in the medium term and built as a roughly USD 200 million investment by Coastal Airport Investment, it has no meaningful scheduled or cargo operation so far. Cambodian air freight therefore routes through Phnom Penh (PNH), Siem Reap Angkor (SAI) and Sihanoukville (KOS), with the seaport of Sihanoukville remaining the main gateway for volume cargo.
