## Description

Most of China's trade with North Korea funnels through Dandong – by truck and train over the Yalu river bridge and through the city's port – yet none of it moves through the local airport. Dandong Langtou (DDG), west of the city, offers a handful of domestic routes such as Beijing, Shanghai and Qingdao, with no cargo handling on site. Forwarders serving the border region work through Shenyang Taoxian (SHE) or Dalian Zhoushuizi (DLC), both a few hours away by motorway.
