## Description

DAX once served the city of Dazhou in eastern Sichuan, but scheduled flights moved to the new Dazhou Jinya Airport (DZH) in May 2022. Since reopening in December 2023 the old Dachuan field has handled general aviation only, with no passenger or freight operations, so cargo relevance is nil. Air cargo for the area is processed at Chongqing (CKG), with Chengdu (CTU) as a further option.
