## Description

At close to 800 metres above sea level in the highlands of Indonesian Papua, Daboto has no road link, so the village depends on a short airstrip flown by mission and bush operators. Single-engine aircraft bring in supplies; there is no commercial cargo handling of any kind. Freight for the region is staged at Nabire (NBX), about 100 kilometres to the west, and at Jakarta (CGK) for long-haul traffic.
