## Description

Creil is a military site without flying: the former Creil Air Base (IATA: CSF, ICAO: LFPC) near Creil in the Oise département, about 50 km north of Paris, closed its runways back in 2016 and, since September 2024, operates as the Pôle Interarmées de Creil-Senlis. It hosts military intelligence and satellite-observation units (including the CMOS and elements of the DRM) and is not open to civil aviation or cargo. A large part of the grounds (around 147 hectares) is being turned over to a solar farm. For air freight in the Oise area north of Paris, Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is the direct cargo gateway.
