## Description

One of Poland's largest regional airports, Copernicus Wrocław (IATA: WRO, ICAO: EPWR) lies about 10 km southwest of the city centre in Lower Silesia, with Ryanair and Wizz Air bases alongside LOT and Lufthansa services. On the cargo side, a dedicated terminal offers roughly 3,300 m² of warehouse space with a bonded store, a cold room and a facility for radioactive materials, handling mainly general and express freight for the region's strong manufacturing and logistics base. Since 2020 UPS has run a daily ATR-72 feeder to Cologne/Bonn (CGN), operated by Swiftair. A new cargo terminal under construction is set to triple freight capacity to around 35,000 tonnes a year. For full-freighter and intercontinental shipments, forwarders turn to Katowice (KTW, about 190 km) or Warsaw (WAW).
