## Description

Roughly 300,000 passengers a year move through Comandante Ariston Pessoa (JJD/SBJE), the airport that serves the wind-and-dune destination of Jericoacoara from the town of Cruz in Ceará, north-eastern Brazil. Azul, GOL and LATAM fly the field, and freight moves only as belly cargo in their passenger aircraft — there is no dedicated cargo terminal, no freighter handling and no customs office for international goods traffic.
