## Description

EWN's home town owes its name to Switzerland: Swiss and Palatine settlers founded New Bern in 1710 and named it after Bern, bear on the city seal included. Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (IATA EWN, ICAO KEWN) links North Carolina's first colonial capital, on the Neuse River, to Charlotte, Atlanta and further destinations, served by carriers including American Airlines, Delta and Breeze Airways. There is no dedicated air cargo handling, no freight terminal and no customs post, and no freighter service is confirmed.
