## Description

Air China, China Eastern and Tianjin Airlines connect Chifeng Yulong Airport (CIF) with more than a dozen domestic cities, from Beijing and Tianjin to Shanghai and Kunming. Opened in December 2008 with a 2,800-metre runway, the airport serves a city of over four million in eastern Inner Mongolia whose economy rests on copper, zinc and gold mining plus livestock farming.
