## Description

A 2,800-metre runway, five parking stands and one clear mission: opened on 31 May 2017, Chengde Puning Airport (CDE) was built to bring tourists to the UNESCO-listed imperial summer resort of Chengde in northern Hebei. Domestic routes began with a Hebei Airlines service from Shijiazhuang. The airport offers no cargo handling.
