## Description

Gracias in the western Honduran department of Lempira, at the foot of Celaque National Park and about 2,995 feet above sea level, has a short strip coded GAC for light aircraft and charter traffic. There is no cargo terminal, no scheduled freighter service, no customs post and no regular airline service, so its freight relevance is very limited. Honduran air cargo runs through San Pedro Sula Ramón Villeda Morales (SAP), roughly 180 kilometres north, and Palmerola International at Comayagua (XPL), both with cargo handling and customs; Puerto Cortés is the reference seaport.
