## Description

The numbers set Casper apart in a state better known for wide-open spaces than for freight. More than 20 million pounds of air cargo move through Casper-Natrona County each year, carried by daily FedEx flights from Memphis on Boeing 757-200s and Airbus A300/310s, with Corporate Air feeding Cessna 208s across Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado. It is the only port of entry in all of Wyoming, where Customs and Border Protection clears more than 500 international aircraft annually, and the only site in the state with a Foreign-Trade Zone — FTZ 157, granted to the airport itself. Sitting at 5,350 feet near the geographic centre of Wyoming, it links United and Delta service to Denver and Salt Lake City. Interstate 25 and the surrounding oil and gas fields shape much of the freight that passes through. For air cargo, Casper is Wyoming's single genuine reference point.
