Cañita Mendera is a small agricultural strip near Tinaco in the Venezuelan state of Cojedes, out in the llanos among rice, maize and grazing land. Crop-spraying and light agricultural aircraft use it; there is no scheduled service, no cargo terminal, no warehousing, no customs post and neither an IATA nor an ICAO code, so it has no freight relevance. Air cargo for the region is handled at Valencia Arturo Michelena (VLN), about 120 kilometres to the north and the main freight airport of central Venezuela, with international consignments moving through Caracas Simón Bolívar at Maiquetía (CCS).
