## Description

Camiguin Airport (CGM/RPMH) at Mambajao is a small island airport in the Philippines whose runway is being extended from 1,200 to 2,400 metres so that standard narrow-body jets can replace the turboprops that serve it today. The Department of Transportation started the works in September 2024 at a cost of around 675 million pesos, and a further phase worth roughly 174.6 million pesos went out to tender in 2026.
