## Description

Sea rather than air moves goods in and out of Iran's Bushehr province, and since the March 2026 airstrikes that imbalance has become absolute at Bushehr Airport (BUZ/OIBB), a joint civil-military field that carried only some 14 scheduled flights a week to two destinations even beforehand. During the strikes an Iran Air Airbus A319 was destroyed on the ground and terminal structures were hit; the Iranian government subsequently described the airport as requiring extensive reconstruction.
