## Description

In Thailand's northeastern Isan region, Buri Ram Airport (BFV) owes much of its traffic to sport rather than commerce: the city's Chang International Circuit, host of MotoGP Thailand, and the Buriram United football club draw visitors who fill flights on race and match days. Low-cost carriers such as Thai AirAsia, Thai VietJet and Nok Air serve it, almost exclusively on routes to Bangkok. The airport has no dedicated cargo facility. Goods from the province move by road to the freight terminals at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports.
