## Description

Despite the "under construction" tag carried in older records, Bozhou Airport (BZJ) in China's Anhui province has been operating since 12 November 2025: a 4C regional field with a 2,600-metre runway in Guoyang, some 33 kilometres south-east of the city, designed for one million passengers and roughly 2,650 tonnes of cargo and mail a year. Traffic consists of a handful of domestic routes and freight travels as belly cargo; there is no dedicated cargo terminal and no international customs post. Air freight for north-western Anhui is best planned via Hefei Xinqiao (HFE) and the major cargo hub at Zhengzhou Xinzheng (CGO), with Shanghai Pudong (PVG) for intercontinental shipments.
