## Description

Bisha sits on a high plateau in the Asir region of south-western Saudi Arabia, between the escarpment above the Red Sea and the desert interior, and its airport (BHH/OEBH) has served that inland farming belt since June 1976. Traffic amounts to three or four daily departures, all domestic, to Riyadh and Jeddah, operated by Saudia with low-cost service from flyadeal. There is no dedicated cargo terminal and no freighter activity; what air freight moves does so as belly cargo on those passenger flights. Exporters of the region's dates, grapes and cereals therefore truck consignments to King Abdulaziz International in Jeddah (JED), the kingdom's western air cargo gateway. King Khalid International in Riyadh (RUH) is the alternative for eastbound routings, while Abha (AHB) is the nearest regional field. Treat BHH as a feeder point rather than a shipping address.
