Beyla airport (ICAO GUBE) lies about nine kilometres west of Beyla in Guinea's Nzérékoré region and mainly serves the Simandou iron-ore project, whose operator funded the field's instrument approaches. There is no scheduled service, access is prior-permission only and the field may be closed at times; there is no public cargo terminal, no customs and no handling agent. The ore itself leaves Guinea not by air but on the purpose-built railway to the coast, while air freight for the region moves through Nzérékoré (NZE) and above all Conakry (CKY), the country's only international cargo gateway.
