## Description

Beira Airport (BEW/FQBR) drew international attention in 2019, when it became the staging point for the humanitarian airlift after Cyclone Idai devastated central Mozambique — proof of genuine cargo-handling capacity. In everyday terms it is the air gateway to the country's second-largest port city and the Beira Corridor.
